Minimally Invasive Surgery

It’s our goal to improve mobility while minimizing the effects of surgery. Minimally invasive procedures such as endoscopy and arthroscopic surgery may reduce hospital stays. In fact, they may even allow you to be eligible for outpatient treatment. Minimally invasive surgery normally results in far less operative trauma for the patient than an equivalent invasive procedure. Guides for Total Knee Replacement

The customized patient surgical planning guides used for total knee replacements are developed from an MRI or a CT scan. The MRI/CT is used in conjunction with a computer program to create three-dimensional personalized surgical positioning guides. The guides allow for a more custom fit of the knee replacement implant system. We offer the Medacta knee implant systems, as well as Zimmer implant systems.

Digital X-ray technology reduces the patient’s exposure to radiation. It also provides a higher-quality diagnostic image and eliminates the chemical processing associated with traditional X-ray systems.
